Celluloid Schultze and E.C. 1.25" fob with original ribbon. The fob is promoting
the 1897 state trapshoot in Oil City, Pennsylvania. The reverse has interesting
testimonials by Captain Brewer and Rolla Heikes. A very rare fob with its original
hanger and ribbon.

1 The Standard Target Company Gold Shooting Medal. The Standard Target Company was an early maker of clay pigeons and this was a promotional medal given out at trapshoots to promote their product. The hanger is engraved “STANDARD”. This medal is circa early 1890's.

1 Celluloid 7/8” Stevens black lettered pinback. “Stevens Shotguns Close-Shooting-Self Pointing.” Whitehead and Hoag was the maker of all Stevens Pinbacks.

Celluloid 1&1/4” Townsend Gun Co. 1514 Farnam Omaha, Nebraska Captain Pinback. This early pinback has a hinged back pin that locks into the metal rim. I have seen other Townsend pinbacks for other field positions in baseball but the captain makes it special.

1 Celluloid Red & white 1/2” lapel stud made by Whitehead and Hoag, Newark, New Jersey. At this time, it appears all U.M.C. Pinbacks and button studs were made by Whitehead and Hoag.

1 V.L.A. Marksman Celluloid 1” Pinback. Von Lengerke & Antoine was a high end sporting goods store. This pinback was made with no back paper but marked Chicago on the rim of the celluloid.

Von Lengerke and Detmold sterling and gold 1920 trapshooting trophy. The 16.6 gram medal was won by George D. Stark for High Gun all around Championship June 13th, 1920. V.L.& D. was a sporting and arms dealer which sold in 1928 to Abercrombie and Fitch. V.G.& L. had stores in New York and Chicago.

to a leather watch strap. The fob advertises White Flyer targets
and Western Ammunition. The reverse is engraved L.S. Rambo
171X175. Field is also engraved and that was Westerns brand of
shells. Rambo was from Galva, Illinois and was also an agent for
DuPont Powder. He was not a registered professional class shooter.

Rare brass enameled gold plated Leader Fob. These fobs are very rare as they were given out to top sales representatives of Winchester. The top sales leader that this fob was presented to was A. Dietrich. The fob was made in Utica, N.Y.
25 Silver 1909 Winchester P.S.A.L. Trophy. Red enameled Winchester on fob and hanger engraved Winchester Trophy. Made by Dieges Clust. John St. N.Y.
26 Rare Winchester 22 Caliber Rifle Shooting Medal. This competition shooting medal was awarded in 1897 at the Madison Square Garden. Refer to the March 13th, 1897 issue of Forest and Stream for more information. The medal was an estate find measuring 1.25"x1.62"

• Note: Winchester stickpins! All Winchester Stickpins have a clockwise twist in the shaft. Winchester never made any other colors than red, dark blue and yellow. All other colors are reproductions. These stickpins were reproduced back in the 1960's. Another way to tell an original is by the back side of the head stamp. The imprint should not show through.

Solid gold 1”x1&1/4” Winchester Fob. This fob has no makers name but originally was on a ribbon. The fob shows wear and the top loop may have been modified to accommodate a chain.
